Fred Clegg is a decorated WWII pilot who returned
from the war to his wife Helen, and immediately went to work for
a major Ontario Glass provider as a salesman to the Ontario market.
After being transferred around the province for a number of years
from London, to Windsor, to Kirkland Lake, to Hamilton, he decided
to settle in the beautiful town of Burlington Ontario and open his
own business.
With a retail store in the heart of the town as well as a manufacturing
plant on the outskirts of the growing community, CLEGG Glass quickly
became the forerunner in providing glass and mirror to the construction
industry as well as the retail and residential markets.

Fred
retired and passed the business onto his son, Ted Clegg, in the
early nineties. Ted expanded the business and developed strong
affiliations with his extensive involvement in the community and
the industry. He is currently a Director for the Architectural
Glass and Metal Contractors, and twice past-President for the Association.
He is also on the Board of Directors for Apprenticeship Training,
and serves on the Provincial Apprenticeship Committee as well as
the local Apprenticeship Committee.
CLEGG Glass is managed by Ted, and his two daughters, Tammy
Clegg and Shelley Clegg. Tammy and Shelley are carrying on the
CLEGG Glass reputation of offering quality products and exceptional
service, while expanding the business of architectural glass and
mirror for the retail and residential markets.
With almost 50 years in the industry, CLEGG Glass has the expertise,
the technology and the top-of-the-line equipment to supply the
market with quality glass and mirror.
